Hi! My name is Deb Minkler. I’m a graphic designer, illustrator, and painter living in Portland, Oregon, with my dog Bella and cat Hector. I’ve always loved animals, especially dogs.

As an artist and a dog lover, I have a lot of fun painting dog portraits. I paint in an impressionistic style, playing with composition and color to create whimsical paintings that capture an animal’s personality. I like to hint at a story with each of my paintings and only use a suggestion of a background so as to keep the focus where it belongs—on that adorable dog!
